Bio.

Sally Anne is a painter, with a background in Textile Design and Ceramics
She has a 1st Class BA Hons from Bristol Art School.

Sally Anne ran her own Textile Design Studio 'Digby Morton Designs' in Clarkenwell, London for nearly ten years, selling her designs, to Designers such as Liberty, Monsoon, Laura Ashley, Calvin Klein and Cerrutti, amongst others.

Now working from her North Norfolk home / Studio, she is painting beautiful still lives, with ceramic pots and jugs, fruit and vibrant bold flowers compositions.

"Her joyful ,exuberant paintings inspire a feeling of happiness in the viewer".

Sally Anne users many of the skills developed while working in ceramics and from working as a textile designer. This is evident in her use of Pattern, Texture, Collage and her diverse Colour Pallet.​
Often elements of collage and gold leaf are used, with applied techniques of layering and scraping back to create texture that results in paintings that are vibrant, luminous and full of interest.


In my work creative freedom is important . I am thankful I can paint everyday and so creativity is part of my life .


I have recently worked with the amazing Aquarelle Publishing who now produce a range of Limited Edition Prints of my paintings . They represent many great artist including Mary Fedden and Quentin Blake - so I am in good company.
